We want to give you an update on our COVID 19 response as people are wondering what it means for our Sunday mornings. The best news is that it has not affected us much at all! If you have not attended in person since the reopening of our on campus services, we encourage you to do so. They have been amazing times!
Should I wear a cloth face covering?
According to the governor's website...You should wear face coverings when in public places, particularly when those locations are indoors or in other areas where physical distancing is not possible.
We have sought legal advice on this. Basically it seems that if a business or organization can keep 6' distancing masks are not required. On Sundays we are already operating with 6‘ social distancing. Churches are exempt from the latest governor's executive order.
What does this mean? We are free to continue to worship just as we have been! (approximately 33% of capacity) Continuing, we still insist that if you are symptomatic or have been around someone with symptoms to attend the online service. If you are in a high risk group, continue to watch online. If you are going to attend, simply keep 6’ distance from other people not from your household. If you feel more comfortable with a mask, for health reasons or out of social consciousness, then please wear one. Some of our hosting staff and all of our kids workers will be wearing masks. Children are not required to wear masks, but we leave that choice up to the parents.
