TIMES WE GATHER

SUNDAYS
Students worship with our church family every Sunday. We encourage our teens to help serve in various ministries on Sundays; such as Kid's Ministry, Worship Arts, or Hospitality.

WEEKLY

We meet on Wednesday nights @ 6pm with games, food, & fellowship. At 7pm we kickoff Forged with icebreakers, student-led worship, a brief message, and small groups.  Contact David Brown  at david@newsongchurch.org or 704-626-8788.

MONTHLY
Each month Our Forged Student Group will venture out for a time of fun with friends. We understand healthy relationships can lead to significant spiritual growth. Our special events are geared to maximize friendships so our small group time can be more effective.

FORGED DISCIPLE

FORGED DISCIPLE is our mentor program for the teens at Newsong Church. We would love to see every teenager have an adult dedicated to being their biggest fan by being available, approachable, and reliable.

Here's how it works:

  • WHO: teens have a coach (mentor) to meet with consistently. Someone they choose or we can connect them with someone we recommend.
  • WHAT: work through "The Purple Book; Biblical Foundations for Building Disciples" then move on to other pre-approved studies/topics.
  • WHEN: the coach and the student will create their own schedule. We recommend meeting at least twice a month.
  • WHERE: any public place or a home where other adults are present for accountability (see our FORGED DISCIPLE guidelines).

HOW TO CONNECT

  • STUDENTS: Join our weekly gatherings in the Loft & follow us on social media. (Click the icons below to follow us)
  • PARENTS:  Join our online parent group for weekly communication and our calendar of events.
  • VOLUNTEERS:  Be a Small Group Leader, a Coach (personal mentor for a teen), a Chaperone for special events, or a volunteer that helps with food prep, setup or cleanup during our weekly gatherings.

We ask that all our students who participate in our events have a current, signed Medical & Liability Release Form on file. Once signed, the forms are good for all events for the calendar year.
